SOTM09: Will Yahoo! Be Full Open Source Geospatial Data by End of 2010 ?
Reports are coming from the State of the Map 2009 conference in Amsterdam, where Gary Gale, Head of UK Engineering for the Yahoo! Geo Technologies group gave a talk, that Yahoo! is planning to be using fully open source geospatial data by 2010. Steven Feldman says it best "... Yahoo will have removed all proprietary place data by 2010 and will make their data open."

This sounds excellent. How can we get our hands on a Case Study from Yahoo for their Open Source Mapping? It will be a compelling reason for many agencies to feel justified in using Geospatial Open Source.
Details should be linked from here: http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Case_Studies
