According to MAPPS, an association of private firms in the remote sensing, spatial data and geographic information systems, the economic stimulus bill H.R. 1 signed into law last week by President Obama includes more than $73 billion that will "require geospatial data, technology, services and applications in at least 24 Federal agencies."
A bit misleading, this headline:

Isn't this the point?
...includes more than $73 billion that will REQUIRE geospatial data...
Thus, a fraction only of the $73B...
