I have blogged on several occasions about the American Society for Civil Engineers (ASCE) infrastructure Report Card which accesses 15 types of infrastructure. Since the last ASCE Report Card in 2005, the grades have not improved. US Infrastructure still gets a grade of D, but the estimated cost of upgrading it to an acceptable standard has now risen to $2.2 trillion.
Rachel Maddow sums it all up neatly in a short video. Thanks to Dan Shannon for pointing me to this.
