
Autodesk has
announced the release of LandXplorer Studio Professional 2011 and LandXplorer Server 2011. The focus of the release is the integration of data from geospatial, engineering including BIM, and 3D visualization applications such as Civil 3D, Map 3D, Topobase, Revit, and 3ds Max to create city-scale infrastructure models. Some key features in this release are
- Support for LandXML
- Fully configurable FDO
- gbXML export to achieve sun shadow /heat studies of parts of city models
- FBX (Platform-Independent 3D Data Interchange) import and export
- 3D dynamic web viewer client (from the Hasso Plattner Institute)
