According to Nikkei, there may be problems with the water-level gauges in Units 1 and 3, according to the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency (NISA).
Sea water is continuing to be pumped into Unit 1, but the water gauges continue to show that the water level is falling. Pressure has dropped slighlty. Radiation readings are flat for Unit 1.
Apparently TEPCO has been able to release pressure in Unit 3, but there is concern that its fuel rods may be damaged. Since the release, the pressure in Unit 3 has increased, possibly because of the water being pumped in. Radiation readings have dropped for Unit 3.
Based on the pressure and radiation readings, it is surmised that the water levels in Units 1 and 3 are higher than the gauges say.
No new major problems have been reported for Unit 2.
