Autodesk has releases its 4th annual Sustainability in Action Progress Report and Summary Sketch, an infographic highlighting key facts from the report. A few highlights from this past year include:
- Autodesk has decreased its carbon footprint 28% over FY09 base year to 61,600 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (t CO2e), on target to meet its climate stabilizing target set with C-FACT.
- reduced emissions from tier 1 data centers by 62% while decreasing IT infrastructure costs by $7 million annually.
- moved into new energy efficient offices in Singapore and Farnborough, and implemented energy conservation measures at other locations.
- Autodesk's space in the Solaris office building in Singapore achieved LEED Platium Commercial Interiors certification and saves 23% in energy and associated GHG emissions per square foot versus comparable buildings in the region.
